Alipurduar, 03rd December: The hanging body of a worker was found at the Nimti Tea Estate in Kalchini block, Alipurduar, causing a stir in the area. The deceased has been identified as Anup Oraon, a temporary worker at the estate.
According to local sources, Anup Oraon left his house on Sunday afternoon. On Tuesday, locals discovered his body hanging in the tea garden. Following the news, the Nimti Outpost police arrived at the scene and recovered the body.
The body was sent for an autopsy on Tuesday, and the police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
