Alipurduar, 25th November: A 16-year-old has been arrested for murdering his brother in the Kartika Harbari area of Alipurduar district. The gruesome incident has sent shockwaves through the local community. The accused, identified as Biman Kujur, allegedly smashed his brother, Babulal Kujur, on the head with a brick.
Police sources revealed that a heated argument broke out between Biman and his brother, Babulal, on Sunday night. In a fit of rage, Biman allegedly attacked his brother and repeatedly struck him on the head with a brick. Babulal’s body was found lying in a pool of blood. The accused is also suspected of digging a four-foot-deep pit to dispose of the body.
