Rajganj, 14th July: The Kisan Khet Mazdoor Trinamool Congress Committee organized a preparation meeting for the upcoming Martyrs’ Day program on July 21st at Sitaguri in Rajganj. The meeting, held on Sunday, focused on mobilizing several hundred workers and supporters from the region to participate in the event at Dharmatala, Kolkata.
Ahidar Rahman, Rajganj Block president of the Kisan Khet Mazdoor Trinamool Congress Committee, stated that hundreds of workers and supporters from Rajganj and its assembly constituency will attend the Martyrs’ Day program. To facilitate this, 2-3 buses have been arranged for each Gram Panchayat.
Additionally, the meeting addressed a state government initiative to provide shallow tube wells and pump sets for utilizing river water to irrigate farmers’ lands. Discussions centered on how to effectively deliver these benefits to the farmers.
