Siliguri, 16th April: A female student of the North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) has allegedly been a victim of sexual harassment.
Reports indicate that the student from the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) department has been facing regular mental and sexual harassment.

On Wednesday, students began a protest at the PMR department of NBMCH demanding justice. The students claimed that the harassment intensified after complaints were lodged with the Anti-Ragging Committee and the police. They also alleged that they were threatened with exam failure if they raised the issue further.
Eventually, the students launched a protest with posters and banners demanding action against the accused.
