Siliguri, 16th May: Siliguri MLA Shankar Ghosh returned to the city, after taking oath, and was seen once again in his familiar style, riding his scooty home. Known for frequently using his scooty for movement across the city, he continued the same practice after returning from Kolkata on Saturday.
Upon arrival at New Jalpaiguri (NJP) station, he was warmly welcomed by BJP workers and supporters. Party members greeted him with flower garlands and traditional khadas as he stepped out of the station. The atmosphere at the station saw a gathering of supporters who had come to receive him after his return.
Following the reception, the MLA proceeded towards his residence on his scooty, accompanied by party workers. The journey from the station to his home turned into a brief procession with supporters joining along the route.
