Siliguri, 03rd May: Ahead of the vote counting scheduled for Monday, Siliguri BJP candidate Shankar Ghosh visited a temple and offered prayers on Sunday.
He performed puja at the Kalibari near Rathkhola More in the morning and sought blessings from the deity. Party workers and supporters were also present with him during the visit.
Speaking to the media after the puja, Shankar Ghosh said that BJP candidates across the state are offering prayers at temples today.
He added that he prayed for the welfare of the people of West Bengal and expressed hope that the counting process would usher in a new dawn for the state.
