Rajganj, 23rd January: A volleyball tournament was organized by the Trinamool Congress (TMC) in Rajganj to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
The tournament was held under the aegis of the Rajganj Block Trinamool Congress at the Jhanju Para Primary School ground in Panikauri Gram Panchayat of Rajganj Block.

Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy inaugurated the tournament by unfurling the national flag and paying floral tributes to the portrait of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
Eight teams from Rajganj Block participated in the one-day volleyball tournament. Apart from trophies, monetary prizes were awarded to the winners.
The event was attended by several dignitaries, including INTTUC’s Jalpaiguri District President Tapan Dey, Rajganj Trinamool Congress Block Sabhapati Arindam Banerjee, Rajganj Panchayat Samiti Sabhapati Rupali Dey Sarkar, Jalpaiguri Zilla Parishad Karmadhyaksha Ranbir Majumdar, Panikauri Gram Panchayat Pradhan Papiya Sarkar, and others.
