‘Diksha’ program organized by Trinamool Mahila Congress in Belakoba

Rajganj, 18th January: The Trinamool Mahila Congress organized a ‘Diksha’ program in Belakoba on Saturday. The event took place at the Devi Choudhurani Community Hall in the Sikarpur Gram Panchayat of Rajganj block, where numerous women workers and supporters of the party participated.

In a significant political development during the event, Khageswar Roy, the MLA of Rajganj, facilitated the joining of Kalpana Barman, a Panchayat member from the BJP in the 18/97 Dangapara booth of the Panikauri Gram Panchayat, into the TMC.

The program was attended by several prominent leaders, including Khageswar Roy, the Chairman of the Jalpaiguri District TMC and Rajganj MLA; Krishna Roy Barman, the Chairperson of the Jalpaiguri District Council; Nur Jahan Begum, the District President of the TMC Women’s Wing; Arindam Banerjee, the President of Rajganj Block TMC; and Sarbani Dhara, the Vice-President of Rajganj Block Women’s TMC, among others.
