Unidentified body recovered from Fulbari Mahananda Barrage, investigation underway

According to local sources, the discovery was made by residents out for their morning walk, who noticed the body floating in the water. They promptly informed the Phansidewa police station.

 

Police officials arrived at the scene and retrieved the body, which was then sent to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) for post-mortem examination. An investigation has been initiated by Phansidewa police to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
