Cooch Behar, 23rd June: Alipurduar MP John Barla’s effigy was burnt by the Mathabhanga Trinamool Chhatra Parishad, who demonstrated in the Shikarpur Bazar area of Mathabhanga 1 block on Wednesday.
Opposing the demand of MP John Barla for a separate state for North Bengal, members of the organization said that they will not allow anyone to divide Bengal.
