Cooch Behar, 19th April: The Cooch Behar Kotwali Police arrested six men with firearms and cough syrup. The arrested accused have been identified as Basudev Sarkar, Bandan Sarkar, Bharat Barman, Rajesh Kumar, Shivam Sau, and Sanjay Paswan. 2 firearms, 10 cartridges, and 20 bottles of cough syrup were recovered from their possession.
During a press conference, Cooch Behar District Superintendent of Police Debashish Dhar stated that the six were arrested during an operation at the Bharat Colony area around 4 am on Monday. An investigation has been launched into the whole incident.
