Bagdogra, 28th July: A tragic road accident claimed the lives of two friends and left another injured near Church More on the National Highway in Gangaram Tea Estate, Bagdogra, late Sunday night.
The deceased have been identified as Badal Munda and Aman, both residents of Muni Tea Estate.

As per reports, the three friends were returning home from Ghoshpukur on the same bike when it lost control and collided with a four-wheeler. Two died on the spot, while the third sustained serious injuries.
Bagdogra police reached the location soon after the incident and rescued the injured, who was then admitted to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH).
The bodies were sent for post-mortem, and police have initiated an investigation.
