Cooch Behar, 17th December: In the wee hours of night the thieves carried another case of theft from Cooch Behar’s Tufangaj’s Balrampur Chowpathy’s gold shop.
Reportedly after getting information, the shop owner reached the shop this morning. After this, the police were informed about it. A written complaint has also been lodged at the Tufanganj police station regarding the incident.

Based on the complaint, the police have started investigating the incident. As per the local businesspeople, the owner of the shop, Pradeep Basak, told that he had gone home after locking the shop on Friday night as usual. When he reached the shop, he saw that all the goods in the shop were broken and learned that the thieves made away with lakhs of rupees including the locker of the shop.
