Cooch Behar, 05th December: A student’s body was found hanging from the noose in Sister Nivedita Girls’ Hostel of ABN Seal College, Cooch Behar.
According to police sources, the deceased has been identified as Nivedita Sarkar, a third-year student of Philosophy at ABN Seal College, Cooch Behar. She was a resident of Jateswar in the Alipurduar district.
This morning girls in the hostel found her hanging from the noose and informed the police. On the other hand, Kotwali police of Cooch Behar reached the spot and recovered the body, and sent it for post-mortem. The police started investigating the whole incident.
