Siliguri, 26th April: In a bid to promote the noble cause of voluntary blood donation, the Siliguri Police Commissionerate organized a blood donation camp titled āRaktadan Jibandanā at the Medical Outpost on Saturday.
This initiative is part of an ongoing effort, with similar camps having been held over the past few years at various police stations and outposts under the Siliguri Police Commissionerate. All blood collected from these camps will be sent to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) to support patient care.
The event saw the presence of ACP (West 2) Debashish Bose, IC of Matigara Police Station Arindam Bhattacharya, In-charge of the Medical Outpost Sajal Roy, along with the Principal and Superintendent of NBMCH and other senior police officials.
