Alipurduar, 28th February: Siliguri Jalpaiguri Development Authority (SJDA) took initiatives for the beautification of roads in Alipurduar. MLA Sourav Chakraborty formally inaugurated the project on Friday. Superintendent of Police Amitabh Maiti, Sub-divisional magistrate Krishnav Ghosh, Bangaratna winner Parimal De and many other dignitaries were present during the inaugural event.
MLA Sourav Chakraborty stated that a lot of development work has been done at Bata More, Shobhaganj and Chowpatty area in Alipurduar at a cost of 1 crore 57 lakh rupees allocated by SJDA.
