Phansidewa, 05th April: The cops of Phansidewa police station have arrested a miscreant in the incident of robbing a freight vehicle by sprinkling chilli powder in the driver’s eyes. The name of the arrested person is Robin Mandal. He is a resident of Fulbari, Jalpaiguri.
According to reports, the miscreant robbed a cargo vehicle by sprinkling chilli powder on the Ghoshpukur-Fulbari National Highway 27 in Phansidewa on the night of March 24. After receiving the news of the incident, the owner of the vehicle filed a written complaint with the Phansidewa police station.
