According to the information, the 22-year-old is the sole breadwinner of her family and is battling with kidney ailment. As per the report, Preity saved some cash by selling cosmetics and blankets to participate in the Mumbai Marathon on January 19.
On Saturday, the police officials under the leadership of IC Nebendu Sarkar of Kurseong Police Station reached Preity’s house in Dilaram, under Kurseong Sub Division, to commend the young athlete. Addressing the media, Preity expressed her gratitude towards the gesture of the Darjeeling Police.
