Cooch Behar, 05th April: University Vice-Chancellor and Governor CV Anand Bose attended the 7th convocation of Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya.
Today, through the said convocation, two agricultural scientists Dr Himanshu Pathak and Dr Arun Kumar Dhar were honoured with Doctor of Science. Apart from this, 31 students were awarded gold medals, 4 were awarded silver medals. Whereas, 481 were awarded graduate, 212 postgraduate and 88 doctoral degrees.
During this, North Bengal Development Minister Udayan Guha, Agriculture Minister Sobhan Deb Chatterjee, Panchayat Minister Pradeep Majumdar and others were present.
