Foundation stone laid for road construction under Pathashree-4 project in Rajganj

Rajganj, 11th December: The foundation stone for a new road under the Pathashree-4 project was laid in the Majhiali area of Rajganj.

On Thursday, the ceremony took place at Motagachh under the Majhiali Gram Panchayat of Rajganj Block, where Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy, Rajganj Panchayat Samiti member Rupali Dey Sarkar, and Joint BDO Saurav Mondal initiated the project along with other officials.

The upcoming road will be constructed from Motagachh on the Ambari-Hathi More State Highway up to the Karatoya Ghat at the residence of Panchanan Barma. The total proposed length is 1.700 kilometers. The project, estimated at around Rs 47 lakh, will be executed under the supervision of the Panchayat and Rural Development Department.

Several dignitaries, including DPAC Chairman Lakshya Mohan Roy, social worker Arindam Banerjee, Niladri Ghosh, Majhiali Gram Panchayat Pradhan Sumit Dutta, and Binnaguri Gram Panchayat pradhan Samijuddin Ahmed, attended the foundation-laying event.
