Alipurduar, 12th February: A church was severely damaged in an elephant attack in Alipurduar, on Wednesday morning.
According to sources, a wild elephant came out of the Buxa Tiger reserve and entered the residential area, destroying the church in the Turturi Mission area. The locals are said to be in a state of panic since the incident.
