Cooch Behar, 29th November: A stir arose in the Gosairhat market of Shitalkuchi after two gold shops were burgled worth lakhs of jewelry and on the other hand attempted theft in another shop.
According to local sources, thieves entered by breaking the shutter of Himanshu Roy, Sujit Mahant, and Gopal Mahant’s shop. Thieves stole jewelry worth lakhs from two shops but no theft has been reported from the third shop only the shutter of the said shop was broken and took away the hard disk of the CCTV camera installed in the shop.
