Nagrakata, 11th June: 10 fresh positive cases have been reported in Nagrakata today. All infected are reportedly migrant workers.
According to administrative sources, the migrants were kept at a government quarantine centre after they returned from Maharashtra, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, and other states. Their swab tests were taken which came back positive today. Following this, the patients have been sent to the Jalpaiguri COVID Hospital.

Meanwhile, 27 people have tested positive for the virus so far in Nagarakata, out of which 25 are migrant workers. On the other hand, 5 have been discharged from the hospital after beating the virus. Besides, there are still 230 people staying at the quarantine center in the entire block.
