Fulbari, 19th May: West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari is scheduled to arrive in Siliguri tomorrow for his first North Bengal visit after the political change in the state. He will hold an administrative meeting at Uttar Kanya. Preparations for the visit are already underway.
According to administrative sources, officials from various North Bengal districts will attend the meeting, where key issues including law and order and the progress of government schemes are expected to be discussed.
The Uttar Kanya complex is being decorated with banners, festoons and other arrangements ahead of the Chief Minister’s visit. Security arrangements are also being reviewed by the administration.
Meanwhile, several BJP leaders visited the Uttar Kanya premises on Tuesday to inspect preparations. Political observers believe the meeting could be significant for discussions on development and administrative matters in North Bengal.
