Rajganj, 04th February: The Belakoba police have initiated an operation against illegal country liquor.
The raid was conducted on Tuesday in the Dipu Line area of Shikarpur Tea Estate under the leadership of Belakoba police station OC K.T. Lepcha. During the operation, approximately 40 litres of illicit country liquor were destroyed, and various liquor-making materials were seized by the police.
However, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident. Police sources have confirmed that similar raids would continue regularly.
