Rajganj, 28th January: In a crackdown on illegal sand smuggling, four dumpers were seized and three dumper drivers were arrested by Belakoba Outpost police on Tuesday morning in the Talma More area of Rajganj.
According to reports, the sand was being illegally lifted from the river and smuggled. Acting on a tip-off from secret sources, the Belakoba Outpost police launched a raid in the Talma area. The dumpers were intercepted as soon as they arrived at the location.

The three drivers were arrested for failing to produce the necessary documents for the sand. One dumper driver managed to escape and is currently absconding.
The arrested individuals were sent to the Jalpaiguri court on Tuesday. Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
