Siliguri, 10th January: The picnic season saw a unique celebration at Belakoba Girls’ High School with the event ‘Ahaare Baahare Utsav’.
Reportedly, students from grades 8 to 10 participated in this event. The students brought home-cooked delicacies, set up stalls on the school premises, and sold the food to other students and teachers. The school made the necessary arrangements for the event and students and teachers were able to buy and enjoy the food offered by the participants.

The school’s Headmistress, Dona Basu, stated that this was the first time they organized such a unique event. It was aimed at enhancing the creativity and self-reliance of the students. She further praised the food prepared by the students and expressed similar initiatives in the future. The students were also extremely delighted with the event.
