Jalpaiguri, 01st May:A Bangladeshi youth was apprehended in Jalpaiguri for illegally entering Indian territory under the cover of darkness. The individual, identified as Fahin Molla, hails from the Narayanganj district of Bangladesh.
According to reports, the youth was caught by a jawan of the Border Security Force (BSF) while unlawfully crossing into India through the Manikganj border area, which lies adjacent to the Bangladesh border in Jalpaiguri district.
Following the apprehension, the BSF personnel handed over the accused to the Jalpaiguri Kotwali police station for further legal action. Authorities have confirmed that the youth will be presented before the Jalpaiguri District Court on Thursday.
