Cooch Behar, 17th January: Sensation prevailed after the lifeless body of an individual was recovered from the Sagardighi in Cooch Behar. The deceased individual has been identified as Sanjib Kumar Deb (40).
According to reports, locals spotted the deceased body lying on the Sagardighi bank and immediately informed the police. Subsequently, the officials of the Kotwali police station arrived at the scene and recovered the body. Family sources revealed that the deceased owned a business and lived on rent at a residence in the New Bazar locality of Cooch Behar.
