Youth without helmet dies after bike collision in Siliguri

Siliguri, 17th March: A tragic accident claimed the life of a young man who succumbed to his injuries on Monday while undergoing treatment. The deceased has been identified as Bikram Roy (25).

According to reports, Bikram was returning from a birthday party on Sunday when his bike collided with a vehicle near Bengal Safari Park. It is said that he suffered a severe head injury as he was not wearing a helmet. After lying on the road for hours, an individual admitted him to a private hospital on Sevoke Road.

Upon receiving the news, his family rushed to the hospital, where he later died during treatment. Bikram’s father, a fishmonger, owns a shop at Santi Nagar Bow Bazar. His untimely death has left the family devastated, as he was their only son and actively helped his father. The local area remains in mourning over the tragic loss.

Further investigations into the incident are currently underway.
