Cooch Behar, 26th August: A resident of Ward No. 10 of Mathabhanga city commits suicide by hanging himself under stress due to his love affair. The deceased has been identified as Rupam Adhikari.
As per the information from family sources, on Thursday night, Rupam had asked his brother to take care of his mother. But nobody had any idea about the step he would take the very next day. This morning the family members found Rupam’s body hanging from the noose.

The Mathabhanga police were informed about the incident and they reached the spot and recovered Rupam’s body. The family members suspect that Rupam committed suicide due to stress in his love affair. The area is saddened and mourning the loss of his life. Police are probing the whole matter.
