Alipurduar, 16th January: Dense fog continues to elude all over Dooars as the places have been blanketed by fog with no signs of sun since Tuesday morning.
According to reports, various areas including Hasimara in Dooars, Alipurduar, and Jaigaon along the Bhutan border are covered in thick fog. This as a result led to very low visibility in several places in the district since early morning.

Additionally, the dense fog gripped the national highway to the state highway. Due to this, the traffic has been disrupted and the number of vehicles running is comparatively less. Furthermore, several people are seen lighting up fires to keep warm in such weather conditions.
