Cooch Behar, 14th January: West Bengal BJP President Sukanta Majumdar visited Cooch Behar Rajbari on Saturday. He was accompanied by District BJP President and MLA Sukumar Roy, Tufanganj MLA Malti Rabha Roy, Cooch Behar Dakshin Assembly Constituency Nikhil Ranjan Dey.
During his visit, Sukanta Majumdar keenly looked into the historical facts of the palace, before stating that he has talked to Tourism Minister G. Kishan Reddy in regards to highlighting the Rajbari as a tourism hub. He added that some funds have also been allocated for the same. However, the BJP State President further went on to express his anger over the negligence of some of the employees stationed at the palace.
