Jalpaiguri, 06th July: Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Gautam Goswami has been arrested in connection with a land-related case. He is scheduled to be presented before the Jalpaiguri court by 3 p.m. on Saturday, where the police will seek remand.

Gautam Goswami was apprehended by the Siliguri Metropolitan Police on Friday in Delhi and subsequently brought to Siliguri. The arrest follows allegations similar to those that led to the arrest and expulsion from the party of Trinamool’s Dabgram-Fulbari Block President, Debashish Pramanik, based on a woman’s complaint.
