Sukhia Pokhari, 23rd April: Three people tested positive for COVID-19 in Tarjam Tea Estate under Jorebunglow Sukhia Pokhari of Darjeeling district.
A 54-year-old man from the said tea estate, a 48-year-old man from the Sewagram area and a 28-year-old woman from 55 Hatta were infected with the virus as per the health department said.
Currently, the three have been kept in quarantine for 14 days after an initial health check-up and have been provided with medicine for ten days. In addition to this, if the medicine does not work, they have been instructed to contact a specialist immediately.
