Alipurduar, 20th December: The terror of bears in the Dooars region is still lurking and once again such a case of bear menace has come to the fore. The incident has surfaced from the area of Pagarhat adjoining area in Kumargram block under Alipurduar district.

Reportedly, on Monday night at around midnight, the said bear entered the bathroom of a house. After this, when the people of the house realized, they closed the door of the bathroom and informed the Forest Department.
As soon as the news was received, officials and forest workers of the Buxa Tiger Project reached the spot. After a long struggle, the bear was brought under control by using a tranquillizer. The forest workers rescued the bear at around 2.30 am. As per the sources, the bear has been released into the wild.
