Siliguri, 27th March: A nursing home in the Fulbari area was vandalized on Wednesday night following the death of a patient, leading to heightened tension at the facility.
According to reports, the patient’s family, angered by the incident, allegedly ransacked the nursing home. The patient had been admitted for treatment but passed away on Wednesday, triggering unrest. The situation soon spiraled out of control, with protesters damaging several items within the premises.

Upon receiving information, a large police force from New Jalpaiguri police station arrived at the scene. To maintain order, additional police personnel have been deployed at the nursing home since last night.
Authorities are currently investigating the incident of vandalism.
