Rajganj, 12th April: Teachers of Sahudangi Hat P.K. Roy High School in Rajganj protested against the incident of alleged baton charge and assault of a teacher by the police during the agitation of teachers who lost their jobs.
On Saturday, all the teachers and education workers of Sahudangi Hat P.K. Roy High School held a peaceful protest with placards in front of the school.

It is to be noted that on Wednesday, the teachers who lost their jobs had organized a program to gherao the offices of school inspectors across the state. On that day, a police officer of Kasba police station allegedly kicked a teacher who was protesting at the DI office in Kasba.
After the incident, the role of the police has been strongly criticized at various places. Teachers of Sahudangi Hat P.K. Roy High School in Rajganj protested against the incident on this day.
