Kalimpong, 24th December: Non-governmental organization, ‘Who Cares’, celebrated Christmas with the destitute and street-sleepers in Kalimpong today.

‘Who Cares’ was founded in Kalimpong, has been serving people from different walks of life, including innumerable destitute and street-sleepers since 2012. The organization has rapidly spread to seven different places including Darjeeling and Nepal.

‘Who Cares’ coordinator Sudin Kumar Das, informed that they have been celebrating every festival with the impoverished and homeless people for the several years.
He said that the main purpose of observing each festival is to ensure that the poor and helpless people do not feel lonely and alienated during holidays. And that they also enjoy every festival like other people.
