Kalchini, 03rd July: Multiple areas of Kalchini, including, the Kalchini Station Line, Modi Line, Shanti Colony, and Godam Line, have been waterlogged due to the prevalence of incessant rainfall in the region. In this regard, the locals have alleged the poor drainage system to be the cause of the issue.
According to reports, water has entered numerous houses, a phenomenon that occurs every year. Additionally, the officials of the Dima Tea Graden had allegedly blocked the passage of the water through the drains, adding to the miseries.
