Cooch Behar, 15th March: With the assembly election approaching nearer, a war of allegations between the political parties is intensifying in the poll-bound state. A similar incident was reported from Bhetaguri of Dinhata which caused a stir in the area.
As per the allegations, Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) activists physically assaulted a Trinamool Congress (TMC) worker after the announcement of Nisith Pramanik as the BJP candidate for the Dinhata assembly. Apart from this, the BJP has also been accused of vandalizing and bombing the houses of the TMC workers.
