Rajganj, 24th July: One person was injured in a road accident on the Gandar More-Sahudangi State Highway near the Balram Power Grid area on Wednesday night. The injured has been identified as Badal Oraon, a factory worker.
According to reports, Badal Oraon was crossing the road after going to buy rice and eggs for cooking when a speeding gas tanker from the Sahudangi side hit him. He fell onto the road following the collision.

Police from Canal Road Traffic Outpost and Bhorer Alo Police Station reached the spot after being informed. With assistance from locals, the injured man was rescued and taken to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). The gas tanker has been seized, and an investigation into the incident is underway.
