Cooch Behar, 26th February: Union Minister of State for Home Nisith Pramanik held a press conference at his residence in Bhetaguri on Sunday. Addressing the meeting the Minister took a jibe at the police administration over the Burirhat incident in Dinhata on Saturday.
The Union Minister said that everyone witnessed the incident that happened on Saturday and held the police administration responsible for the incident. He alleged that when the convoy was heading to the Burirhat area, the road was barricaded not by TMC workers but by the police and he further claimed that due to this such incident happened and was viciously attacked. Pramanik further added that attacking the Union Minister implies attacking the Home Ministry of India.
