Kurseong, 01st July: Bharatiya Gorkha Prajatantrik Morcha President Anit Thapa expressed grief over the massive landslide in Manipur’s Noney district that claimed the lives of many including 7 soldiers.
It is to be noted, the BGPM recently won the Gorkhaland Territorial Administration poll. Thapa appealed to the party cadres, supporters and leaders to postpone the victory celebrations from tomorrow.
“The people who were martyred in Manipur were our brothers. We should not rejoice over their demise,” Thapa added. He further stated that he will be visiting the bereaved families of the departed and urged the people to do so.
