Kali Puja preparations begin with customary ‘Khutti Puja’ at Shakti Sopan Club in Ambari

Rajganj, 18th October: The Shakti Sopan Club located in Ambari of Rajganj block has officially commenced preparations for Kali Puja with the traditional ‘Khutti Puja’ ceremony. On Friday, Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy arrived at the location and inaugurated the puja.

The club is well-known for celebrating the festival with grandeur in the Rajganj block. In this regard, the MLA expressed his joy at participating in the ceremony and conveyed optimism this year’s puja would keep up its good name for organizing one of the most notable pujas in the region.

Club member Tushar Dutta stated that this year the club would organize its 54th year of Kali Puja celebration. This year, the Kali Puja has been organized to display the theme of Time. At a budget of ₹6 lakhs, the pavilion will feature well-decorated lighting and several cultural programs will be organized.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including the President of the Puja Committee, Samijuddin Ahmed, Secretary Animesh Goswami, Treasurer Tushar Kanti Dutta, and other club members.
