Alipurduar, 01st December: Sensation prevailed in the area of Kumargram tea garden in the Bhutan border area after a woman was murdered by her husband on suspecting her of having an affair. The deceased has been identified as Sunita Mahali. Meanwhile, the accused husband Sanjay Mahali has been arrested by the police after the incident.
According to local sources, Sunita reached home late after getting delayed while finishing her work in the tea garden factory on Wednesday night. Due to this, a dispute arose between the couple. After this, Sunita started cooking dinner as usual when Sanjay attacked her with an axe on her head three times and fled.
