Jalpaiguri, 02nd December: Members of the Hindu Jagran Manch organized a protest march in Jalpaiguri demanding the release of Chinmoy Krishna Das Prabhu, a saint from ISKCON Bangladesh.
The protest took place on Monday, with the Jalpaiguri district branch of the organization initiating the march from Babughat. The rally passed through various areas in the town before concluding with the submission of a memorandum to the District Magistrate. The protestors voiced their concern over Chinmoy Krishna Das Prabhu’s confinement and urged the government to take immediate action for his release.
A spokesperson for the Hindu Jagran Manch expressed hope that the government would respond swiftly to the issue and take necessary steps to maintain religious harmony and peace.
