Siliguri, 31st March: A shocking incident has emerged from Siliguri, where a biryani shop has been accused of selling biryani made with rotten meat.
Biryani shops across the city attract large crowds of customers looking to buy chicken and mutton biryani at affordable prices. However, complaints regarding food quality continue to surface.

Reportedly, a customer purchased mutton biryani from a biryani shop in Lake Town, Ward No. 33, on Sunday. Allegedly, upon taking the biryani home, white worms were found on the meat. The customer later returned to the shop at night and showed the contaminated meat to the owner and staff.
Following this, local residents and other buyers raised concerns about the quality of biryani being sold. However, no response has been received from the shop owner regarding the matter.
