Carcass of a bison recovered in Central Dooars Tea Garden of Alipurduar

Alipurduar, 17th April:: Sensation prevailed after the carcass of an adult bison was recovered from Central Dooars Tea Garden under the Kalchini block of Alipurduar district.

As per the report, the tea garden workers sighted the body and immediately informed the forest department.

The forest officials of the Hamiltonganj Range reached the spot and recovered the body and sent it for an autopsy in Rajabhatkhawa. According to them, the wild animal died due to old age.
