Rajganj, 25th March: The Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Kisan Morcha staged a protest in front of the office of the Assistant Agriculture Officer at the Kisan Mandi in Belakoba, Rajganj, alleging the sale of adulterated fertilizer.
According to reports, farmers from different areas of Shikarpur Gram Panchayat in the Rajganj block recently complained that the fertilizer they applied to their land was completely adulterated. The fertilizer remained floating in water instead of mixing with the soil. Despite reporting the issue to agricultural officers, no action was allegedly taken by the administration, prompting the BJP’s Kisan Morcha to stage a protest on Tuesday.
